It's where you can check your bank account online, make tranfers and pay bills.... and what not. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! online banking is when you use internet and your bank's website for transactions such as transfer, opening an account or paying your bills.you can also check your balances and all the transactions on your account plus the new good thing is that you can see a copy of your checks that you drew from your account and in some banks also you can see a copy of the deposit or withdrawal slip of the transaction you have done in the branch. transfer to and from CD accounts are not possible through online banking because of the penalty that they may have, some banks let you transfer from your account to another customer's account and some just let you do transfer only between your own accounts. you have to set up an online banking inside a branch to be able to pay your bills online instead of sending checks, which is less costly and less time consuming.
