What did people ever do before online banking and bill paying?

Man ... I can't imagine being without it

Paid in person, by mail.
I think they had to use those archaic things called stamps.
They actually went to the bank in person!!!!! I refuse to use online banking I don't want the bank tellers to lose their jobs to a computer.
Snail mail, and paying in person. I am so thankful for e-pay.
if you think back really far, you might remember writing on one of those things called a "check" and putting it in a paper pouch called an "envelope" and sticking on a liitle sticker in the corner called a "stamp" and putting it in a big blue box called a "mail box".
and you might recal actually setting foot in "the bank", where people sit at those little teller windows and then there are some people at desks. them memory is fading a little for me too but i think i remember most of it.
