Another online Bank Savings acct. Question?

Another online bank I have been considering is HSBCDirect.com, does anyone have any information on this bank? And if so, how well do they like it? And thanks to all who responded to my other question, you guys were very helpful.

I don't know the bank but anything you do on-line can be hacked and you just told the world that in the future your money will be exposed...not so good.

HSBCDirect definitely offers the best rate. As with all online services though these financial sites are a bit time consuming to set up but once you have them setup they are great. I have HSBC and ING Direct. Personally I like ING's interface and style much better. I think it's considerably easier to use and manage. However, you can't be HSBC's rates. They're incredible....right now it's 6 percent on all new funds deposited before April 30th.

I've been a customer of both for awhile and love internet banking. They give the best rates. Specifically, HSBC has the best current rates, so I have all my money there.

Don't worry about it being over the internet. Everything is secure. In fact, you have more chance of personal information being stolen when you mail a check. Your checking account number is at the bottom of it.

Check out HSBC - you link it to your regular bank account.
