Does anyone know if an online bank account can be levied upon? Yes A common trick for debtors worried about creditors seizing their bank accounts is to open a bank account in a business name. Apply for a Tax ID (they are free), set up a DBA (doing business as) and open the account. Most creditors won't dig deep enough to find a business account.
