I'm a Non-Us Citizen, how could i open a US Bank Account online? Online, I know that etrade.com you can open one online either for brokerage or banking. You do not need to be a citizen to have a banking account in the States. Thanks to off-shore banking rules for foreigners in American. Depending where you live, I am pretty sure one of the big banks can help you put money in the US, however that's not an online option. Still, you will need to send a passport copy and show that the funds deposit are legal. you can no longer do this even if you were a citizen of usa Are you living in the country? If you are here and on a visa go and apply for a social security card and a drivers liscence. Then get your bank account from there..If you are in another country I am not sure you can...but your country may have bank accounts that will save money in AMerican funds and you can access online. Personal experience- Im a Canadian I came in and got this with a TN visa Modified 1 year ago are you a Resident? if so apply for a social security card or a Tax ID. Banking online is never as good as it appears to be. But first you must have legal identification to legally own the money you deposit. How about opening a bank account in the place where you are a citizen? That would be the easiset thing to do! |
