Is there a basic bank account that I can apply for online without having to visit a branch, (Not current acct) |
I don't care which bank it is. Thanks ING: http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-2184795-104... You won't have to visit a branch because they will have you enter your existing account information from any other bank and will transfer that money to the account you just opened. And they pay 4.5% APR i applied online for a basic account with the alliance&leicester and 2 years later im still with them no probs-didn't have to visit the branch try first direct currant accountt Try ING.COM. They are only online with no local branches. The interest rates are great. The are paying 4.5% on savings accts with no minimum, 3% on checking (this is new) and over 5% (if I remember right) on CD's. Look into it and see if this is an option for you. I imagine you mail in your deposits. If this works for you, email me and I can send you a refer a friend link. You will get $25 and I'll get $10. Your money is FDIC insured with ING so don't worry about the funds or the legitimacy of the bank. I've been with them for years. The best paying internet easy access account at the moment is with ICESAVE they are paying about 5.8%. As with most internet accounts you will need a current account to transfer money in and out from as they have no branches. The current account can be with any bank. They are also guaranteeing to keep the interest rate at least .25% above base rate until 2011. Check them out at www.icesave.com www.basicbank/online/branch?/d... hope this helps I also agree with the ING. |
