I recently became aware of online banks, whose websites are usually the bank's name plus the word "direct". I have looked at a couple that offer savings account rates at just over 5%. What is the best rate currently available at a reputable FDIC-insured online bank?

HSBC, Capital One and Citi have the best accounts. HSBC has a 6% rate for the first few months but they all range right around 5%
