Capital one gave me letter invitation for a personal loan last year, I did it and now I want to refinance it? |
i guess you could say, I want to add alittle more to it. Since I havent received a letter invitation (because thats the only way they will give you a loan) do you think since I already have one I should call them and ask what they can do for me? or should I just go somewhere else and take out an additional. The rate is WAY lower than credit cards and I like the steady pay amount (its just somethign that works for me. My credit is near 780 so I wont have a problem getting another one but I didnt know if I should try calling Capital one first and seeing if they could work something out with me considering they already have my business. What do you think? toolate put your finger to work and give them a call -- i have found that in the past if your are happy with the loan company and have a very good payment record it is always best to go back -- i am sure they will be glad to give you the extra cash!!! It couldn't hurt to call them... If you have as you say a 780 score, you shouldn't have a hard time finding a loan even with the sub prime mortgage loan scare of the past few weeks ! Capital One is always sending me those pre-approved loan invitations ! Try going to this site, they have lots of information about this sort of stuff. http://www.****************/?i... Capital One has been great working with me. I would call them. Tell them you appreciate the current loan and you do not want to change the terms. Ask them what they can do for you for your additional need. Also check with your local credit union for a comparison. I do not consider Capital One a good company to do business with. |
