Pet Insurance with No Reimbursement? |
Is there Pet Insurance out there that doesnt do the reimbursement thing? Where I can just take my dog in and pay the co-pay or deductible and then the insurance pays the rest? I dont get why you pay up front when you get the insurance because you dont think you will have that much money upfront.... Any help would be great. Thanks! Not in the US that I'm aware of. Vets would have to employ people to manage it the way hospitals and doctor's offices do, which would increase the price. I think that Banfield has a care program that's more along the lines you're talking about, but it's not really insurance. If you're looking just for routine care, that might be an option for you. I think they're in Pet Smart stores across the nation. p.s. I think most pet owners put the vet bill on a credit card so that they can get reimbursed. (Just a guess.) I have never heard of anyone saying that the pet insurance was worth anything. It's crap!! I think there is in the UK. In the US, no such luck unless you want to be paying $90 a month! Be really careful before you sign up for any of it. Most of the fine print will tell you it doesn't cover anything. |
