Does renters insurance cover broken windows? |
My patio door was broken this weekend by a Bocci ball. It came over my fence and right through my patio door. Noone was there to claim responsibility even though I seen it come from the neighbors yard directly behind me. Does renters insurance cover the cost to replace that Very expensive glass? Nope. Renter's insurance covers your personal property. But your landlord should cover the cost of the damages since it was your neighbor's fault.
