Who offers the best renters insurance? No idiotic answers please. Thank you.? |
I was advised to get it. I'm thinking it's a good idea because the apartment we will be moving to is on the first floor. (An there is a bunch of bayous everywhere) (GROAN) Can you guys help me out here? Thank you very much. please try this <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-1748196-1... target="_top">help!</a> <img src="http://www.lduhtrp.net/image-1748196-104... Finding out involves calling around. Find out what is covered and what it will cost you. Make sure you know any particulars such as flood coverage. Know what your resposibilities are such as security measures. State Farm, or the Hartford, are two good choices. It will depend on where you live, how much you have to insure,to decide on the premium. It is good to get renters insurance. I've heard it makes it easier for you to get homeowners insurance when you go to buy. Your best bet is to probably call the same insurance company who carries other policies for you (notably car). Most will offer you "package discounts" for having more than one policy. Going with a different company will be more expensive. And don't worry too much about it...it's not really very expensive. Just be sure you take photos of your biggest valuables, and appraisals are even better. Keep the documents somewhere safe away from the apartment, like a deposit box. |
