What if i don't have a social security number, can i still buy car insurance? |
I am an illegal alien here in chicago, illinois but i have a car that i drive to and from indiana (about a 40 minute drive). I want to purchase car insurance but i do not know if i can. what do i need to buy insurance in illinois. do you know if i can purchase it online or which insurance company would sell me an insurance policy? please help as soon as possible. So much like every other illegal in the country, you might as well drive around without insurace, wreck and kill someone and then get away scott-free because nobody has any recourse on you. Go to hell. -J. you should not have said that your a illegal alien online the FBI is on there way so go hide in the closet or something... to be able to buy a car you need a license to get a license you need an ssn, so how the lleh. anyway i believe they only check your drivers license so if you have a drivers license then you can buy one. check those onlines insurance quotation and see if they'll ask you for your ssn. are you legal in the country you live in? As an illegal alien, you can't get insurance since you cannot get a license. Your best bet is to go back to your own country and get licensed and insured there. |
