How hard is it to pass the state insurance exam? Are their cliff notes for such a thing?

How hard is it to pass the state insurance exam? Are their cliff notes for such a thing?

There are no cliff notes or abbreviated versions. You REALLY just have to know all the stuff. I've taken about 4 different state tests, passed them all the first time. Two I've taken "cold" without studying, but that was with 10+ years of insurance work in the field, and having been licensed for a very long time.

If you know the stuff, and read the questions carefully, they aren't hard. If you don't read the questions carefully to pick the MOST RIGHT answer, or you don't know the stuff, it's really hard to pass. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
take your designation courses and then sign up for the test, you will brush up on alot, and they will usually go over everything on the tests. times are changing, they make it much easier now.
