Any advice on taking the State Farm Insurance exam? Do I need to study? Are there study materials? Depending on what state you're in, the test ranges from mildly difficult all the way to terribly hard. State Farm doesn't write the test. The state you're taking the insurance license test in does. For more information on the test and the licensing procedures, head over to your state's website (which will be at http://www.state.yourstateinitial.us... - just put your state's postal code where I put yourstateinitial - for instance, California would be http://www.state.ca.us - and then look under state departments for insurance. Each state has a state insurance commissioner. After gettting your license, you'll be required to take continuing education (called CE's) every year. In answer to your original questions, you'd do well to study hard for several weeks before the test, State Farm should be able to provide the study materials, and my advice is to not be disappointed if you don't pass the first twelve or fifteen times you take the test. If you are talking about the company's personality exam that many insurers give to potential new hires, then you want to answer all the questions so as to show that your are outgoing, honest, aggressive, money-motivated, personable, etc. These tests are designed to see if you may be a good sales person. |
