What's better state farm or erie insurance? |
What's better state farm or erie insurance? I've actually found Erie to be the better company to deal with when I have to call. They're smaller, more personal, and you usually get a human being on the phone, not a voice mail maze; and a real adjuster handling your claim, not a "team" (I'm not quite sure when it happened, but it's like State Farm Claims converted to communisim - you get a different Comrade in 'Team 10' to assist you every time you call.) Both companies have been around a long time and have great reputations; but consider bigger can also mean more impersonal. You can also check with the JD Power's webpage, they rate insurance companies. If all things are equal (coverage, pricing, etc.) I'd go with your agent's recommendation. If I thought for a second Erie would write me (2 accidents), I'd be with them instead of my own company! Source(s): Long, long time, too long, adjuster State Farm is a bigger company, so therefore it is better. What's better, coke or Pepsi? What's better, corn flakes or shredded wheat? Bigger does not mean happier customers though. I prefer Erie (and no, I don't work there, but if those are my only two choices...) claims person just because its bigger doesnt make it better. state farm has jerked me around 3 times already with rate hikes. a co worker of mine has eerie and shes happy with it. but that depends on the quality of service you get. every company is different, we have diff. experiences. |
