Does homeowner's insurance increase in NY state if you have a trampoline in your backyard?

Does homeowner's insurance increase in NY state if you have a trampoline in your backyard?

Not if you put it in after you get the policy, and the company doesn't know about it.

Actually, it doesn't cost more if you have the trampoline - but you won't find anyone willing to insure you. It's a question on the standard ISO application - do you have skateboard ramps or a trampoline?

Because trampolines are VERY dangerous, and lots of kids end up in emergency rooms from head injuries. If someone with a trampoline calls me, looking for insurance, I can't help them. Really. I don't know a single company that will do it. Kinda like, breeding pit bulls in the back yard . . . prohibited risk. Sorry! Source(s): AGent, 20+ years
Are you refering to the premium rates/ OR THE AMOUNT OF COVERAGE THAT YOU NEED? If you do have a tramp you should be covered for as much liability as you can get from your company as you can get. all you need is one claim for an injured child from an other family, and you could be sued into bankruptcy, especially in NY.
