Where can I get an insurance license in the state of GA? |
I am trying to find a career for now and trying to find out the best way to do it. A lot of people talk about doing this. i need to get out of retail. You can find that information out on the website of your state insurance department, however, just having the license doesn't get you a job! You're better off finding the job/sponsor, THEN going about getting the license (which should only take a couple weeks). Primerica does insurance, mutual funds etc. you walk into a meeting - you can find them in most cities, listen to their sales pitch and accept. They will get you your insurance agent's license, and then you can get your mutual funds license and so on. Primerica is good if you are a self starter - and have a group of people who may need insurance - Primerica pushes term insurance, which generally is the best deal for people. Primerica is bad if you can't find anyone who may need insurance in the beginning, as i couldn't and lost interest. You may have to pay around $200.00 for the insurance license, they cover the rest.
