Is my babys' Florida-Medicaid insurance also valid in other States? |
Is my babys' Florida-Medicaid insurance also valid in other States? it should be valid in any emergency room/hospital... if you move have your case transferred to the state your going to in an emergency room probably otherwise probably not as your case worker about it im from the mid west and im moving south my doctor told me we would have to re apply in the state that i was moving to....so are you moving or visiting if you are visiting it should be I was told that it was NOT good outside of Florida. You would be sent a bill & then you had to contact Medicaid & file a claim to see if they would pay for it (most likely they will if it was an emergency). If it's not a necessity to use it right away then I would call your local DCF office & see if they can help you.
