I am looking for a tax/ accounting program for small buisnesses any help?


My grandad needs a program that does anything a small buisness can record general ledger, bank accounts, etc.

MYOB is very popular in Oz.
Quickbooks.

You can go to any Costco / Sams Club (probably the cheapest place outside the internet) to get it.
QuickBooks makes it simple to start - it "interviews" you about your business and sets up accounts and settings accordingly. You can keep it simple or purchase various levels of payroll if you have employees. Most accountants and bookkeepers have it if, at the end of your tax year, you need assistance for year-end tax preparation. Various levels of Federal and State tax forms and preparation, within the program, are available.
If you don't think you're going to need assistance or the occasional professional support, MYOB is popular.
