Why did my state taxes go direct deposit to an account i don't have? |
I would really like to know why! That sucks. Whoa, did they get a wrong routing number or something? Since I also opted for direct deposit, I know that I have to supply my routing number and checking account information. Seems to me it might be your mistake, not the state's. You don't provide enough information for me to tell you how this screw-up happened. Certainly you should contact the Tax Board in Fresno (if you're in California). Just give them a ringy-dingy with your telephone and get someone to straighten this out. do you owe someone money? Maybe the routing number was filled out wrong! There is a fraud going on.
