I have a court order my ex-wife owes me $ for taxes I paid jointly. I don't want to spend more $ on attorneys. |
I've already spent too much $ on attorneys and I'm not 100% certain she will ever pay me. What can I do myself as far as enforcing the court order? Yes, take her to small claims court. Once you win a judgment, take it and file it with the county clerk. Then you can try to garnish her wages, or if she ever gets a tax refund, you can attach that as well. take her to small claims court-or the court of common pleas. do it your self.--ask legal aid for help if you need it. depends on how much it is if more than a grand sue the !%^* out of her less than a grand small claims or common plea's |
