If someones income is in the bottom 5% of the tax bracket, should they be able to get a lot of financial aid?

If someones income is in the bottom 5% of the tax bracket, should they be able to get a lot of financial aid?

The general answer is the less money you make the more money you are eligible for.

There are some considerations. If you are under 23 and don't have your own children the FAFSA info. is based primarily on your parents income. You will also get more money if you don't live at home.

It doesn't cost money to fill out the FAFSA. The best way to find out is to fill out the application and see what happens.
You can talk to a financial aid counselor (in the financial aid office) of any University for more information. You can also call college/university 1-800#s.

Personal Note: I come from a low-income family. I got enough money in loans and grants to pay for Everything without me having to worry.
Possibly, unless their credit is really bad.
That depends on what the aid is for, how old the person is, what qualifications he/she has and how much he/she works.
Financial aid is available to anyone. All you have to do is apply. You can go to the FAFSA website and apply, or you can go to your local bank and get an educational loan. I also suggest that you apply for scholarships and the governments Pell grant. Both provide free money that you do not have to repay.
