Is there a calculator that will estimate taxes taken out of a paycheck? |
Is there a calculator that will estimate taxes taken out of a paycheck? H&R Block has a pretty standard withholding calculator. The IRS has one also, but it's only for federal. The H&R one includes SS and the rest. Keep in mind that it's all just an estimate and can differ depending on how much you want to change it. http://www.hrblock.com/taxes/tools/withh... salary.com has any calculator you need. I used theirs when I was figuring out my net pay for a new job. There is a computer program that does it is probly on a microsoft small business. look at your previous paychecks and then calculate. you can also take control of how much taxes from your paycheck are taken out. ask your tax preparer about the difference between tax withheld and tax exemptions from your w-4. consider taking a higher tax exemption number to offset the deductions and then at the end of the year adjust your tax liability. have you heard of irs/ftb banmking??? if you even have a refund, you have been a client of irs/ftb banking!!! 1-(your income tax rate) = x x times your salary = discretionary income original amount - discretionary = taxes withheld |
