Tax cuts work...why won't the media report this?? |
WASHINGTON -- There is some very good news in the battle to slay the budget deficit. It is being cut in half well ahead of forecasts, offering fresh evidence that reducing federal tax rates does not undermine government revenues. The Bush administration has a lot of problems on its plate, both foreign and domestic, but the budget deficit is not one of them. This is one area where President Bush's policies have been a resounding success, though don't expect to see this reported on the nightly network news shows. The Office of Management and Budget announced last week that the annual deficit, estimated at $400 billion just a few years ago, will be $205 billion by the end of this fiscal year (which ends in September). http://www.townhall.com/columnists/donal... Because to do so would be to admit that capitalism works. What everyone is missing is the debate is not about right versus left, or dem versus repub, or conservative versus liberal, the debate is straight up, a fight between the freedom and liberty of a free market, or the chains of servitude to a Marxist ideology. It is simple black and white, they hate capitalism and seek to destroy it at any chance. You know that what you say is right, they know it as well but cannot admit it as it goes against their basic Marxist beliefs, and to do so would be tantamount to philosophical suicide. They find murdering our culture to be more to their liking, so you really see it is devolving into a kill or be killed scenario, freedom versus servitude. it doesn't fit in to the agenda that they have. (of course, you already knew this based on the tone of your question ;) They don't want you to know that, it defeats their liberal agenda. I saw that story too. Sadly, it doesn't support the message that the mostly liberal media wants to put out there, so it is not reported, or it is buried on page 49... Go preach that BS somewhere else! If we could slay the deficit maybe Bush would stop running it up, but he hasn't! Trickle down doesn't work, and the rich get all the tax cuts! Go talk to someone who is a complete idiot and believes David Stockman still! And tell him to put the deficit from the war in there because it isn't! You really believe that? They Call Him "W" So He Can Spell It Tax cuts have NEVER stimulated the economy when it all goes to the rich! What are they going to spend it on! Hell, they hire illegals now! That is why they call it voodoo economics. You pretend it doesn't come from somewhere!!!! Sure it make sense. Let see, we rob from the poor and give it to the rich in hopes that some we stole trickles back down! That makes no sense at all! It didn't under Reagan, it doesn't under Bush, and IT NEVER WILL! Duhhhhh!!!! Tax cuts have always stimulated the economy. If the Democrats retain control of the Congress in the 2008 elections, look for them to lapse and American workers will take home less money which will go the government. They should have been made permanent. they're just a short term fix...think back to Reagan's tax cuts and how when the bill finally came due that it most likely caused GHWB his re-election |
