Some of you miss the point. Revenues are high enough we shouldn't have to deficit spend. The tax cuts are not the cause of the deficit, the budget is out of control.
That's quite an outrageous and incredible statement you just made. "No one's expense?" Please explain this as I think the national debt and inflation are bad for us and tax cuts for the rich help no one but the rich.

You're right! The rich don't have to pay their rightful share of taxes and deficits don't count! And universal healthcare is not a right, let the poor die!

Money we used to give tax cuts to the rich could have been spent on something meaningful.
Forget trying to explain this. The assumption that revenues would have been higher without the tax cuts is nonsensical. You will never get some people to understand that this is not a zero sum game and that by leaving wealth in the people's hands that do the most with it we can actually "grow" the economy thus more than making up for any decreased tax rate.
Revenue of what is up? The Dollar is getting more worthless, day for day and 40 Million USA Citizens have fallen out of the system, unemployed, uninsured, hopeless. The USA has the biggest gap in the top nations between rich and poor, with over 40% of people below the baseline for poor, if you draw that line at $14,000 income a year. that half the population almost living in slums or soon in slums. What Revenue is up? That of Haliburton and the other military contractors, including Boing, Norhtrop and so on account of our tax money?
