How can "tax cuts for the rich" make the poor poorer?


Even if you agreed for the purposes of argument that revenue wasn't rising dramatically, that incomes at all levels weren't rising, that the effect of allowing the economy to reinvest its own earnings didn't spur growth - I know, that would make sense only if every penny of tax savings were put under the mattress, but suspend disbelief for the purposes of argument, for one moment - - - -

even if somehow that didn't help anyone - - - how does it HURT anyone?

I mean, even if you pretended revenue was falling, how would that hurt poor people, who PAY NO INCOME TAX?

Does that make sense? One person's gain means someone else's pain? How's that?

It would if the cut in taxes led to cuts in entitlement programs.
They don't, but poor people need tax cuts and rich people do not. if you are going to cut taxes, cut them for people who need the help

It makes NO SENSE.
This is nothing more than the Democrats trying to justify taxing us so that they can use OUR money to buy votes from the poor.
On the contrary, poor people do pay income taxes. Realize that all the funds CIRCULATING in a country makes up that countrys economy. ( Macro-Econ 101) So, if we gives one group of people a tax break it naturally means that the rest of the people are paying to make up any difference. Keep in mind that government spending comes out of these CIRCULATING funds. Right now we as a country is at war. We, as a country, have spent well over 500 billion dollars. Those funds came from some where. All we know is who got taxed the most. (Those that did not get a tax break.)
