Should JK Rowling have declared Harry Potter a "religious text" so that it would be exempt from sales tax?

Should JK Rowling have declared Harry Potter a "religious text" so that it would be exempt from sales tax?

They also keep saying that evolution/atheism is a "religion," which is completely ridiculous, but would allow me to save on my science textbooks...
LOL, yes. Then maybe those religious freaks that claim her book is "the devil" would have some ground to stand on.
Do they have sales tax in the UK?

Only 4 more days! woo hoo!
but its not religeous*LOL* so, why are you even putting this question on here?
Because it isn't a religious text by any stretch of the imagination. It is a work of fiction. If you want to make this book exempt why not The DaVinci Code?
LOL! Donkey you're a kick (pun intended)
~ I wonder if C. S. Lewis. considered doing that when he wrote The Chronicles of Narnia?
When I buy any book from a bookstore I am charged sales tax even if it is a Bible. You can't get more religious than that.
