Is my FEIN # and Fed Tax ID number the same numbers? |
I was told it was the same number by a person who was not qualified, were they right? Yes. Your FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number), EIN or Federal Tax Id are one and the same. When I ask employers for their FEIN, they ask 'the EIN?' I tell them that they're the same or just 'yes'. Your personal tax id is your social security number.
