Is there software that handles taxes for schedule D for active traders?


what is a good software that handles short selling, wash sale rules, options, etc? does it just download the transactions from a major brokerage account?

yes, some small hedge funds even use quicken. however, it is not perfect in its treatment of short sales and i believe it still does not consider the wash sale rules. i think it does have a reasonably good options module.
