Tip ONeill Said Reagan's Tax Cut Would Never Be Allowed to Pass. Was that a Top Dem's Lie or ...?

.... was he simply squealing before doing what Reagan made him do?

Dems were in charge of both the Senate and the House.

And, Reagan got Dems to give a HUGE tax cut to the rich. That cut was far more tilted towards the "rich" than Bush's cut.

Aren't Dems silly?

Just a little pressure and liberals fold like a cheap umbrella.
shhhhhh...dont mention facts to the Dems.
The tax code was screwed six ways from Sunday when Reagan took over. The rich were paying more taxes by the end of the 80's than at the beginning (Unless they idiotically weren't taking deductions).
Tip O'Neil new that he was not going to win the battle, but put up a good show.

At least O'Neil could put up a good show. The current Democratic leadership clowns cannot even do that at this point.
they are weak we said we still stop amnesty and we did. but watch those trick guys trying to back door it back into law.
Answer: Typical Tip LIE! The ONLY Speaker of the House (and a low life democrat at that) EVER convicted and imprisoned for the crimes that he committed while in and using his office!
What a liberal democratic legacy...Hillary bemoaned that the democratic party was losing a great friend and leader the day Tip went off to the slammer!
