Who's to blame for "fly tipping", the fly tippers or the ridiculously high levels of Government tax?

It's starting to get bad where I live, but I don't blame the fly tippers I blame the UK Government - who incidentally, have such little regard for the environment that it takes them months to remove it.

There has always been fly tipping but it was only Large items and Trade waste. Ever higher landfill taxes only made this worse.

Now that fortnightly domestic collections are coming in expect it to get worse.
Yes, balme the government for people behaving badly.

When will people start taking responsibility for themselves rather than blaming someone else?
Do you think then that we should steal from stores because food is expensive? I agree charges are high but if someone fly tips, the rest of us pick up the cost.
So wherever someone can save money by committing a crime, that crime is the fault of the government, not the fault of the criminal.

Thanks for explaining that to me.

Anyhow, what has tax got to do with this? Do you mean refuse disposal charges that councils (not government) make to dispose of waste from commercial sources?

So who should pay for business to dispose of their waste? You and me? Taxpayers? Council tax payers?

Many fly-tippers are disposing of dangerous chemicals and asbestos waste, which need proper (expensive) treatment. They have taken money from customers for proper disposal and just dumped it without regard for the consequences.

Fly tipping is a selfish crime, which shows contempt for the rest of us. The people responsible for fly-tipping are the low life scum who fly-tip, not any council or government.

I think your statement is one of the most stupid I have heard on Y!A.
Fly tipping is inexcusable
Tax, all bad things are caused by tax being too high
As the perpatrators of the act it must be the fly-tippers, aided and abbetted by the packaging industry, propagated by the government and condoned by the enforcement authorities
