Travel Insurance ! I am UK based and want annual cover for Europe and North America. Who's the cheapest ? |
I am UK based and want cheap travel insurance for a year. Which company has the cheapest cover ? (UK companies only please...not American !) If you can afford to keep enough money in a Lloyds Current Account, they will turn it into a "Gold Account" which includes free travel insurance for the account holders up till the age of 80. Check out the amount which needs to be kept in the Account and if you have to pay a premium for extended cover. And your screen name isn't a clue to yourself :D Try the Post Office I have an annual policey from Nationwide for 拢78 per annum. I used to use STA travel uk Until they went up to 拢85. But they do a basic backpacker cover for a lot less. But it's not on the website. If your talking medical insurance, I don't know what the cheapest is but the best is Lunn Poly. It's second to none, I always get it and have claimed serious amounts on it over the years, there's never a problem and I only ever have to show the documents and everythings sorted, even in quite backward countries. This depends on a lot of factors that we don't know such as age, medical history, how long you are going for and what kind of trip you are taking (i.e. high risk sports).
