What is the cheapest company in the uk to get travel insurance from? |
travelling to thailand and got to get hold of some travel insurance but obviously want to find the cheapest as im a student, please help! Try squaremouth.co.uk. Go to the hol insurance section and enter your requirements, it will compare all deals and offers in price order. When i looked on there last time single trips for an individual in europe the charges started at about 拢3.00!!! May be a bit more expensive for further afield.... No straight answer to your question, but I use Atlas Direct. They're cheap and when I had a claim they settled it without any messing about. Try the post office and check with your bank --some accounts give you free access to insurance. Try Swift insurance. I have my car insurance with them and they are the cheapest for that so presume they would be quite cheap for travel insurance too. They are internet based so they don't have to pay anyone (apart from helpdesk) so you benefit. http://www.swiftcover.com/ I used the Post Office when I recently went to Thailand, I think it was around 拢50. I also got my camera stolen when I was there and the claim was settled quickly. :o) |
