Where can I go for a guaranteed unsecured loan for bad credit?

I'm currently unemployed and is in the process of looking for work, but I'm in desperate need of a small loan to tied me over until I can find something. I've applied online to various places that supposedly "guarantees" you a loan,but denied me regardless. I'm looking to borrow about $1000.00. There are so many scams out there,or you have to pay a "middle man" to get names of lenders that one can obtain by looking online. Unfortunately, I've been scammed one too many. I appreciate any advice, but if you don't have anything nice to say, please don't reply.

I see www.lendingtree.com on tv all the time but i really dont know anyone who has used them. If you have a car, you can go to those title lending companies, find one in your phone book. or maybe get a job that will give you an advance.
